It may also have something to do with the whole running in DS mode thing, but I don't want to mess with the settings too much without knowing what I'm doing.Įdit: After a while, I found out that inside TM's source code you can find every patch that it applies on ROMs, by finding the one for Black 2 and using an IPS reader I patched manually my BB2R ROM with a hex editor. By comparing the patched ROM with an vanilla black 2 ROM I noticed that it already has the AP patch built in, either it's not working for some reason or there's something else that TM++ patches on black 2 ROMs that prevents these problems. It doesn't seem like TM++ can apply the AP patch automatically like with vanilla or the original blaze black 2. I've been trying to play blaze black 2 redux on my 3DS but I can't get around the AP, I've got black 2 to work before, even done a few randomizer runs without issues, I tried patching the game over the ROM that I always use but I get the "AP patch missing" prompt from TM++ and when I run the game it stutters sometimes, it even softlocked once when starting a battle in the same way an unpatched black 2 ROM does.
